Join us for the second episode of the new Wednesday Winter Wines season.
This time on the menu: Serbian Sarma, the mother of Balkan comfort food.
Sarma consists of fermented cabbage leaves stuffed with a mixture of ground meat, rice, onions, and spices. The rolls are then slow-cooked in a pot, often layered with smoked meat, bacon, more cabbage leaves, and simmered in a flavorful broth or tomato-based sauce.

Pairing Sarma cabage rolls with wine has always sparked debate, and we aim to try, to taste and resolve the issue.
