Settled in Pannessières near Lons-le-Saunier in the Jura, Clarisse Nunez and Jean‑Marie Grandvaux are making their mark as young winemakers with a bold vision. With over 5 hectares of lovingly cultivated vines, their approach fuses tradition with modern finesse, a distinctly elegant expression of the region’s terroir.

Their vineyards yield Trousseau, Poulsard, and Pinot Noir, alongside Chardonnay—with the highly anticipated premiere of their Savagnin poised to make its debut.

Jean-Marie’s journey testifies to a rich background in viticulture. After studying winegrowing in Beaune, his experiences span the renowned vineyards of Beaujolais, Macon, and even extend to wine regions in Canada.

Moreover, his tenure in Burgundy, working alongside acclaimed winemaker Jean‑Louis Trapet, has left an indelible mark that is unmistakably visible in the nuanced character of their Chardonnays.
Although the Burgundian influence is evident, wines retain the strong rustic charm that hallmarks traditional Jura winemaking.

Adding to the repertoire of tradition and authenticity, the vines themselves, some between 40 and nearly 100 years old, serve as living monuments to a long-standing legacy. The couple’s commitment to hands-on vineyard work ensures that the grapes are harvested at peak health and ripeness, with minimal intervention in the winery allowing the pure expression of the fruit and land to shine.

The result? Sensational wines that possess a profound elegance – each bottle a refined blend of heritage, precision, and the innovative spirit of its makers.
