Natural Wine Crash Course

Embark on our Natural Wine Crash Course
charter flight into the world of authentic winemaking

Step beyond the hype and delve into the genuine world of natural winemaking with our three-evening crash course, held once a week over three consecutive weeks and designed for groups of 6 to 8 people.

We’ll contrast natural wines with conventional, organic, and biodynamic wines, clarifying differences and dispelling misconceptions along the way.

Join in to explore vineyard and cellar techniques, grounding theory in practical tasting sessions. Each evening features 4 to 5 carefully selected natural wines paired with complementary bites, highlighting the magic of food and wine synergy.

Let us assist in identifying your personal preferences and help you navigate the wine lists of your local wine bar or restaurant with confidence.

Last but not least we will cover common wine faults, helping you isolate and address issues like mousy, oxidized, bretty, or overly reductive bottles, but also encourage you to celebrate and share your idea of a well-balanced masterpiece.

The course includes an informative booklet to enhance your learning, describing wine aromas and flavors, structural components of wine (sugar level, acidity, tannins, alcohol, body), and introductory tables on wine and food pairing.

Have you ever wondered how the moon phases might influence the taste of your wine? It’s a fascinating aspect of biodynamic winemaking that adds another layer to the experience. We can delve into that during the course as well!

A Biodynamic and Lunar Calendar for Wine Lovers

On the final evening, we’ll unravel the complexities of wine ratings and provide the tools to begin building your own personalized wine notes library, solidifying your newfound expertise.

The price for the Natural Wine Crash Course is €225,00 per person for the 3 evenings, which includes wine, food, and an informative booklet. At the end of each evening, if you decide to purchase any bottles from our shop, you’ll receive a 10% discount on all items.

There are no fixed dates for our course; it’s charter-based. After three years of conducting this course, we’ve learned to be flexible and adjust our planning to suit each group’s needs. The best approach is to visit our shop, where we can discuss the details in person. This ensures that each group receives a personalized experience tailored to their interests and availability.
