Rennersistas – Intergalactic 2025
Austria, Burgenland, Gols
This expressive, briefly macerated blend is the perfect launchpad for a voyage to the universe of orange wine, offering effortless drinking with a lot of intrigue. Following fermentation, suspended on lees for six months in oak barrels and amphoras, the wine develops a stellar texture.
In the glass, it pours golden yellow with an attractive copper reflection, a luminous haze perfectly capturing its wild, unpolished energy.
The nose is generous and exotic, bursting with aromas of bright citrus fruit, gooseberry, quince, passion fruit, and a fresh wildflower breeze.
Beneath that vibrant fruit, you will find delicate hints of raw almond and a gentle savoury undertone, a footprint of its time resting in barrel.
On the palate, it is fresh and dynamic, delivering notes of ripe peach, floral muscat and refreshing grip from the grape skins.
To experience its full aromatic depth, serve it slightly chilled (12–14°C). This is an incredibly versatile food wine. It pairs beautifully with mildly spicy Asian dishes and rich roasted vegetables, but it is also simply fantastic to drink entirely on its own.
