Grape variety: 60% Blaufränkisch, 40% Zweigelt
Harvest: Harvested by hand in mid-September 2020
Vinification: The grapes are processed in 3 parts. 50% is completely destemmed and undergoes skin maceration in stainless steel tanks for a period of 14 days. 40% undergo partial maceration carbonique in wooden barrels for a period of 14 days and the last 10 percent undergo full maceration carbonique. Subsequently, the wine undergoes aging in wooden barrels and amphorae for a period of 15 months and is bottled unfiltered.
Wood aging: Partial fermentation in wooden barrels followed by 15 months of aging in used barriques.
Taste impression: Light red wine. Cherry and berries combined with blaufränkisch spiciness, ripe tannins, juicy and youthful.
