This Chardonnay from the Dolomiti, made by Grawu winery, is a delightful bombshell.
The high altitude vineyards situated approximately 500 meters above sea level, in combination with 5 days of skin contact and 12 months oak barrels aging, contributes to the wine’s unique character.
On the nose the wine has a refreshing aroma of pear and green apple with hints of lemon grass and bergamot.
A mineral, fresh and fruity palate makes it stand out from many other Chardonnays, making it a surprising and delightful choice pleasing Italian wine lovers, as well as Chardonnay enthusiasts.

Starting their winery in 2013 Leila and Dominic, an Italo-German couple having worked and made wine in Bordeaux, Montalcino and the Marche region, established themselves in Alto Adige, the region they fell in love with and they think produces the finest and purest wines. Their deep knowledge of winemaking, organic farming, respect for biodiversity and terroir led to wines that are alive, dynamic and bold in their flavour.
