This has been a long time coming. The last time we had Red Fruit November, a botrytized dry red wine made by Oszkar Maurer, was in 2018 (vintage 2015).
And this one was well worth the wait, in a big way.
A glorious wine made from botrytized Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested in November.

The wine opens with an intoxicating bouquet of ripe red fruits—luscious cherries, strawberries, and raspberries—infused with the floral elegance of rose hips and grounded by earthy rhubarb notes. The palate is a complex tapestry, beginning with vibrant fruit flavours, followed by a subtle tobacco smokiness and culminating in a lingering liquorice finish.

Definitely a Red Pill wine.
