This Beaujolais offers a harmonious blend of dark berry flavors, bright acidity, and subtle peppery notes. Crafted from 50-year-old vines rooted in sandy, black granite soil, this wine benefits from southeast exposure. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented as whole bunches in concrete tanks using traditional carbonic maceration. After a slow press, the wine ages for 9 months in large oak foudres, untouched by fining or filtration.
As its name suggests, this wine is a floral delight. Violets and dark fruits intertwine in a velvety, charming red that’s best enjoyed slightly chilled.
