Champagne Silver, brut nature, from André Clouet has aromas and tasting notes of orange, nectarine, peach, toast and brioche. This champagne is very suitable as an aperitif due to its soft, fruity character. It is also delicious with oysters, fish, salads and poultry.
André Clouet founded the Champagne house in 1741. Today Jean-François Clouet has 7 hectares of vineyards located in the Grand Cru villages of Bouzy and Ambonnay, with mainly Pinot Noir vines planted. The grapes are picked by hand and the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Before the wine is bottled, it matures for a few months in used Sauternes barrels. Although this is a Brut Nature Champagne with zero dosage, it is enriched by off-dry tones from the Sauternes casks. The Champagne matures for at least 4 years in the bottle on the lees, in the underground cellars of Jean-François Clouet.
